You will find accomodation in all the villages except Aradena. There is only a canteen there for you to relax enjoying the view of the gorge. There is no shadow on the path except in the forest of Agios Ioannis and Agios Pavlos.Take precautions for the heat. Bus arrive to Hora Sfakion from Rethimno through Vrisses and from Hania. There are taxi boats for the coastal part of it if you feel lazy.
